I hate to trash the new girls but it's the truth even though it's not entirely their fault. It's just such a letdown from what the women's division used to be. I mean back in December 6, 2004 Lita and Trish closed out Raw as the main event. You would NEVER see any of the divas they have currently close the show as the main event. I don't want to hate on the new divas too much because I'm sure they try and management does not treat them well. I just can't stand to see them go downhill.

Just out of curousity, do you keep up with the cuurent product? Cause WWE has been taking steps to getting the division back on it's feet this past year especially once AJ got the title. Her fued with Kaitlyn had awesome segments/promos and story-line continuation every week + some lengthy PPV matches. Although AJ's current fued with the cast of 'Total Divas' has been beaten to death the division is in much better place than it's been in a long time. Everything takes time.
I also think it's really unfair to compare these girls now to the Lita/Trish era. Yes, that was an amazing era but we can't live in the past. Whose to say the girls now can't build thier own great era. We have some girls who can really work (AJ, Natalya, Naomi) hell even the Bella Twins have improved leaps and bounds. Not to mention the great girls we have down in developmemtal (Paige, Emma, Bayley, Sasha). It all comes down to management booking the girls properly.
