Nobody knows exactly has many copies have been shipped of course, but it's most likely under certified.
I mean, it's already scanned more than 8 million and it's only at 8x certification?

All the albums from that time are certified for way more than they actually scanned.
It's only now in modern times that the certification actually matches the amount scanned. Her debut is the only album from that time that certified like that.
For a more parallel example, The Writing's On The Wall is also 8x like Christina Aguilera but it has only scanned 6.3 million copies about 2 million less than Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera has sold 935,000 copes through BMG Music.
Her physical singles during that time have sold 3,351,000 copies
