i keep hearing that shania twain's new album is supposed to be released this year does anyone know when ? and when we can start hearing a new single from her? plus i keep hearing talk about her releasing a christmas album sometime does anyone have any info on that ?

nope no one knows when yet, i'd assume it would be by like November. And if she released a Christmas album i would be thrilled, hopefully that will happen! her last album came out in 2002, so after 6 years i would think she'd try her hardest to get her new album out this year. After all, there was a 5 year difference between the original version of Come On Over (not the international one from 1999, the original country version) and Up! in 2002.

Love Shania! I hope releases new material this year, she has been gone for awhile

Shania is in New Zealand on her 30 million dollar estate writing and recording her new project. She spends time between her estates in Switzerland and New Zealand.
She emailed one of her band members 3 weeks ago and said she is writing and recording.
I sure hope the cd comes out this year but with Shania she doesn't care, she has no pressure. When it is ready it will come out. It may be 2009.
All we know is that she is very busy working on her album.
