I'm surprised she still has a record deal, her sound pretty much never evolved and I don't think the last album sold that well.
I think her new songs like the one with Yandel and "Be My Lover" sound slightly different (and better) than her old material. I remember watching her old music videos and thinking the songs all sounded exactly the same.
Her music was on fire back in 2009 but now she sounds a bit outdated and generic. I hope she goes off in a different route this time. I mean the girl can sing for Gods, she can pull of other genres. Her acoustic sessions are amazing, the only problem is the production on the studio versions. I'm happy for her though and I still listen to her.
