Kelly Clarkson is heading down to Nashville to play the role she was born to play: herself.
After last night’s mid-season finale, the ABC drama confirmed that Clarkson would appear in an episode of the show where she’ll record Mazzy Star’s hit “Fade Into You” with characters Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Scarlett (Clare Bowen). Watch below as Palladio and Bowen perform the track on the Grand Ole Opry stage during season 1 of the show.
This isn’t the first time Clarkson will perform the song, having performed it at a show last year in Charlotte, North Carolina, after a fan requested it....
