Spanish is so easy that I have never studied it and I can speak the basics. I'm Italian tho, the languages are similar
I find it more useful than French. I speak French pretty well and I only use it when I go to France.

I must say tho, since Spanish is my native language I'd love to learn French, it really is a beautiful language.
