Tennis Court is the obvious choice. It just has to be a single.. there's no if, and or buts about it. It's still doing well on iTunes and it has a music video that has plenty of views, plus it's a fan fave.
Ribs should probably end the era after it, honestly. I don't really see anything else doing as big as Team and especially Royals.
There's no way that she'll get that many singles...
And Tennis Court already has a music video because it was the second single in Australia and New Zealand. That doesn't mean it'll be released in the US.
Yes but I think it's better to start over fresh. Ribs would definitely do it. I'm skeptic about Tennis Court but I agree it's a good song.
Why are some of you acting like Tennis Court can't/wouldn't be a good single choice because it already has a video? "Same Love" had a video before "Thrift Shop" was discovered, and that video got tens of millions of views before it became a single, yet it managed to peak at #11 on the Hot 100 for multiple weeks (which certainly isn't bad for a third single AND for a brand new artist).
The decision shouldn't be made based on whether or not a song has had some promotion before, it should be based on how accepting the GP will be of the song. And Tennis Court is one of the most radio-friendly songs on the entire album, no question.
Both WTT and Ribs would not be picked up by radio. Too downtempo. I don't want radio programmers to be adding synthetic drum beats to these masterpieces.
