hillary is surprisingly getting better to me.... i like her more.
there is one thing hillary duff does very well and that is *dress*.
the girl has better style than anyone her age and looks amazing everywhere she goes.
i honestly like her look.
she is a pop tart.
she needs to remember that for her next, and any, album she makes.
people don't want sarah mclaughlin from her, they don't want alanis, they want baby one more time X 100.

^I agree about the dress. She has the most amazing style, she always looks 100%. It must be hard though. lol. But the whole point of her new sound is to not be a "pop tart" style popstar. She wants to be serious, and thats what this transition means for her.

1. Hilary was in New York this week to talk to some songwriters for her upcoming album.
2. Sean Garrett has approached HR with two songs he'd like Hilary to do.
3. No planned collaborations yet.
Questions I asked:
4. How many songs does Timbaland have for Hilary? Does he believe she can do well?
Timbaland has 4 songs he wants Hilary to do. He believes that she's a very marketable act & that she can do far with the right songs & promotion. He sees a bright future ahead for her in music & would like to be a part of it.5. Will the petition for the Tour DVD help at all?
Hollywood Records are aware of a petition but have not followed up on it.

Well, I am VERY glad that Timbaland believes in Hilary's success, and I guess it'd be OK for him to do some tracks. 4 is more than enough.

About DIGNITY
Given the title and Hilary Duff's sophisticated, uptown-girl look on the cover, 2007's DIGNITY seems to announce that the teen starlet is all grown up. Yet the album is still full of effervescent dance-pop, as fresh-faced and catchy as fans of Top 40 and commercial bubblegum would expect. Biography
Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress, pop singer/songwriter and entrepreneur. After gaining fame for playing the title role in the television show Lizzie McGuire, Duff went on to have a film career; her most commercially successful movies include Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), and A Cinderella Story (2004). She earned $15 million in 2005 and $12 million in 2006 and 2007.
Duff has expanded her repertoire into pop music, with three RIAA certified-platinum albums and over thirteen million albums sold worldwide. Her first studio album, Metamorphosis (2003) was certified triple platinum and she followed it up with two more platinum albums, Hilary Duff (2004) and Most Wanted (2005). Duff's latest studio album, Dignity, was released in April 2007 and was certified Gold in August 2007. So far, the album has shipped 907,300 copies worldwide.
She has also launched a clothing line, Stuff by Hilary Duff, and an exclusive perfume with Elizabeth Arden. Duff and her mother were listed as producers for the movie Material Girls, and she will soon produce her sister's debut album.
Her upcoming films include the 2007 action thriller War, Inc., animated comedy Foodfight! and independent films Greta and Safety Glass.

3. All of the songs that Hilary recorded between July 2007 - January 2008 have been scrapped for sure, except for "Reach Out," "Twisted" & the other song Hilary recorded in January. But even those are only being CONSIDERED. ("Reach Out" has the biggest chance of making the new album.)
4. Timbaland may work with Hilary for the new album. HR approached him this time & he says he has some really good songs he think would be right for her.
5. Hilary may be getting lawyers involved to handle some of the other problems she's having with the label.

I don't know if it's true, but it sounds about right. She's writing and recording now and November is a great time to release an album. It has also been stated by some other sources. Maybe the people on here who have sources can find out for sure?

No collaborations? That's what I've noticed on HR artists. I want them to collaborate with some artists and explore chemistries!
