Wow.... I need to leave ATRL more often because whenever I come back there's major news involving Adele. Anyways, regardless.... The Diane Warren thing is great news! It sounds like Adele's new album will be really promising and she's taking her time to perfect it. I just hope that she doesn't take too much time, though, I need a new single or something. And I'm just going to ignore the Miley Cyrus rumor because I REALLY don't want this to be true. But judging by who else Adele is supposedly working with, I just don't see it happening. I couldn't see Miley Cyrus fitting in on an album like that, if Adele is really going in the direction we think she is with this album. Just think... The Grammys are only 13 days away. Let's pray we'll have some hardcore Adele news by then! And I will interview Mark Christopher tomorrow if I don't hear from him.

Anyone else hoping that Paul Epworth is the executive producer for the new album? Like what Rick Rubin was for 21 (only this time she doesn't ditch all of those tracks for the demos...)

In my opinion, he really brings out the best in her.

Yes. Rick did a great job, and if he was, I wouldn't have any problems with that, but I love Paul's work with Adele. They are an amazing team and they work so well together. Some of Adele's strongest songs were written by them. Lyrically and musically. But I will say that as a musician, I've noticed that three of the songs they did together – "Rolling in the Deep", "He Won't Go", and "Skyfall" – were all written in the key of C minor. But regardless, they all are different enough and flawless enough that they work. I hope she does more than three songs with him on this record.

I think in this case it does. But I'm not here to argue...just sharing my opinions. I don't see things the way most see them I have learned in my couple of years as a DD, and it pretty much makes me an outsider and that's okay. I'm here to share in Adele as much as the next person.

BTW, the adelephants article writer, Gaby, tweeted an apology in response to my criticism of her getting our name wrong. I sent her the link to the adele.tv forum thread with our story in it, with the note that perhaps she could write a more truthful story of us.

Hopefully we can hear from Adele soon.

I wonder how many songs Adele has finished. We know now she has at least done one Probably another with Ryan Tedder and probably another with Paul Epworth If we add in Kid Harpoon and the other guy (I can't remember his name) then that puts the album around 5-6 songs

I'll work on using it more, because it's not my intent for you to always have to update it, but I do appreciate it. He definitely bought a studio, and it seems like he has been working but then again it could have been with different artists. Anyways, he did post that picture and deleted it. Not sure if it is Adele's team or Coldplay however

How long has Adele worked on 19 and 21 before? If we do with the fact that she started working on June then that means she has 7 months of working on the album so I seriously think we will get it before her Birthday. It's just so quiet that it seems like we aren't getting anything IMO

Ben's been working with Sam Smith, and I'm sure the other musicians from 21 all have found work in the down time, so she may have had to find a whole new band, etc. Or she may be putting her own music on the back burner so these other folks can work on other projects, I'd be fearful of putting her on a definite time frame.

Hope she cuts the basic Tedder or just do one song with him for the Deluxe Edition. The other producer is James Ford.
