The Queen is the most admired woman ON THE PLANET, followed by Angelina Jolie & Oprah Winfrey
The results from a YouGov poll were revealed earlier today which asked members of the British public to vote for the person they most admired. In the top spot, with almost 20% of the overall vote, was Her Majesty The Queen.
The poll also placed Prince William in 9th position, whilst the Duchess of Cambridge was ranked in 19th. Alongside members of the royal family, famous names such as Stephen Fry and David Attenborough made the poll, ranking in 7th and 11th place respectively.
The YouGov poll was taken by thirteen countries across the world, including China, Great Britain, France and the USA. The results from these individual countries were compiled to create a list of the most admired people in the world.
In this poll, The Queen placed as the most admired woman in the world, coming in 17th position, in front of the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie.
