I knew this would get trashed as soon as I saw the trailer. It's so uninspired and try-hard. It's also very hard to bring these kind of mythological stories to the screen without looking like complete nut jobs because everyone involved swears people back then people were as dramatic and binary as they portray them. Kellan is as much of an actor as a Final Destination stunt.
