Why people here thinks that major acting awards recognize her because of her fame or popularity?

Let me remind you that she was no big star when she was nominated in the Oscars as a Best Actress in her movie "The Winter's Bone". Even big stars who campaigns and promotes a lot cannot easily get a nod not unless if she's got talent or performance to back it up. Also she has never received any acting lesson and yet that maturity, depth and power she gives in acting is superb. Who else can do that? When she reaches 30, she'll be a huge force Meryl Streep or Katherine Hepburn levels or better.

She deserves every praise and fame she gets. Yes, she is the best actress of her generation and I must say spearheading to be the best of all time in terms of versatility and potential.
