I don't dislike being called gay (or being asked about it), but I do hate when people use my sexuality as a way to describe me, like... "he's my gay friend", or "my gay cousin"
Here online on ATRL it makes no difference, I don't mind being called sis, sistern, gyal and what not, there's a certain aura of campiness on the board which I'm ok with but not as much in public
But if you're a gay on good terms with me call me whatever, because I will call you a ****** affectionately. And since the forum is obviously a friendly place, "Gays" in titles doesn't bother me since it's a given the thread starter is gay. If not, they shouldn't use "gays".

I detest this too. I also hate those girls who want gay friends to treat me/us like some sort of accessory.
