I truly am fascinated by the Lupita hype. Sure she's stunning but she really was nothing noteworthy in that movie. She barely had any dialogue. I think the bw who lost her kids before her was much more riveting.
So with 3 high profile awards "American Hustle" was the big winner of the night. This ensures many Oscar nominations and good box office weekends ahead. $150M+ domestic is on lock.
