So sad , they had to walk home in the rain .

That is so unnecessary. Them being snippy has nothing to do with you in the first place. You shouldn't flushed their keys. I would even feel more guilty if they tipped me.

I don't have a job as I'm still a student.
But my Engineer professor told me this. The national department responsible for developing highways, roads, bridges are corrupt as ****. She used to work there and the very reason why she quit is because whenever they would have a new developmental project like building/repairing roads, her co-workers would add "0" for what construction material will be use. Like when only 500 bags of cement are needed, it'd be 5000 when they submit it to someone who's gonna be funding it. They actually get away with it and would have secret mansions and luxurious cars out of the country while majority of the people in their own country are eating salt for dinner. Some people are just....
I would never do that when I become an Engineer.

That is ****ed up. You should be fired. I understand customers can be rude, and picky and annoying, but flushing keys?? What if the food they sent back WAS really bad? Or they were allergic to some of it or something? That is just horrible.

No there isn't, there may be specific flight routes or airlines that always have an air marshall on board but they are not on every flight. I've been flying several times a year since I was born, I know airports and airplanes inside out. The only time I have ever been made aware of their presence was on the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 which was a scary day to fly, they stay pretty well hidden for the most part. But there are 1000s upon 1000s of flights worldwide every day, there is not an air marshall on each one, not possible.

Some secrets I've read here I found familiar... like, "Fight Club". Anyways, the Starbucks thing made me laugh my ass out

1. The people at the top making the decisions are only slightly smarter than the average, just as ignorant, and less willing to admit that ignorance than the general population.
2. In the US, if you get arrested, the cops DON'T have to "read you your rights" right then and there. Police are only obligated to inform you of your rights if they need to question you, and most of the time they will simply ask you to read a form and sign it.

Sometimes this could be figured out theoretically, but it would still be interesting to receive confirmation, right?

As someone who has worked in several retail stores, including Macy's, this is ********. Those pillars are support pillars for the actual structure of the store. They are completely solid and have to be, otherwise the structural integrity is compromised.
People who spit in food are the lowest of the low. I don't care how mad someone makes you, nothing justifies such a grotesque act. However, stuff like that in the food industry is far too common. My friend works at Arby's and she says they don't even inspect for things like mice, which they have crawling all over the store.

I work at a flower shop and just to say it short. Don't go for the finish bouquets we have in display.
You save half of the price if you actually make your own. But when people try to ask
to make they own I always get them to buy the finish bouquet because we
earn more money + i'm lazy and don't care

I used to work as a sales associate and the part I hated was that we had to push our credit cards to all customers. We were supposed to ask every customer if they had a card and if they didn't, then we had to tell them the benefits such as reward points, but the thing is, we WERE NOT ALLOWED to tell them the interest rate. Even if they asked. All we could do is hand them the pamphlet with the information and the interest rate was I stated there, at almost 30%. As sales associates we were pushed to get a certain amount of cards per shift/per week but they couldn't fire us if we didn't meet our "quota" (which was a relief).
If customers already had one of our cards, we were also supposed to push them to use it. If they said they didn't have it then we could look up their account to find their number so that they could use it. I guess it's not really a secret, other than withholding the interest rate but it always seemed shady to me.
I'm no longer there, thankfully, but i never pushed the card unless someone was making a big purchase where they could get some reward certificates back.

Wal-Mart got me to get their credit card I don't look at interest rates though because I always pay my credit cards off on time Plus this one I almost never use, only at Wal-Mart and iTunes.
