With digital sales in decline for the first time, Beats Music launches on January 21st on Apple's iOS, Windows Mobile, Google Android, Sonos and via Web browsers with the partnership of AT&T:

The carrier has agreed to distribute Beats Music, offering AT&T customers a 7-day free trial of the service. Afterwards, the service would cost $9.99 a month. For customers who opt to sign up for AT&T's family bundle, the service would come with a 90-day free trial. Once the trial period runs out, Beats would charge $14.99 a month, but allow up to 5 people and 10 devices full, on-demand access to the service.

Along with that, "Beats has partnered with Target Stores for a promotion that would give away 30-day free trials to customer who buys anything from the store's electronics department." Currently there is no "free" option available such as the ones provided by Spotify, Pandora, etc. It will cost $10 a month.

These deals point to Beats’ ambition to pursue a broad mainstream audience, including demographics like adult women who historically have not been priority targets for digital music marketers.

I don't even do the streaming thing. But anyway, we'll see how this goes. Beats Music needs to offer more variety and albums in full if they want to have a chance.

Right. I look like every other day and they never update it. It got to tha point where i just added it to my phone.

I love me some Spotify tho, so i'll rock with them no matter what. I'll see what tha Beats app gives tho

I have spotify premium right now and whenever Apple launches their own version I'll probably subscribe to them. All of these streaming services popping up really shows the shift in the industry.
