From a legal perspective in Florida, the pupil is too young to give consent to someone over 24. This is Statutory Rape. The teacher is classified as a Sex Offender for the rest of his life. He has admitted to Unlawful Sexual Activity with Certain Minors and in Florida this has a mandatory sentence of 5-15 years in prison!

Apparently she didn't rat him out, a male student did So I'm sure she did, plus she didn't technically get him fired.
