This. Both, at their prime, were incredibly huge (and are still quite popular today), BUT, it's unfair to compare a TV show to a musician..

I want to say Madonna but it's definitely the Simpsons - the comparison doesn't really fit. What would be more interesting is Simpsons vs Spongebob vs Family Guy in 10-20 years from now.
