I can't believe this... When I read the title I thought it was some stupid rumor.. I thought they would be one of those rare celebrity marriages that last... I feel so sad for them, I wish them the best in this though time, I'm especially sorry for Luca, poor kid

Wow, what sad news to wake up to. It still doesn't feel real. I remember candids from August/September of last year where Hilary wasn't wearing her ring in public, but it was around the same time the couples therapy article was posted (which she denied), so I thought nothing of it. I'm happy the separation was amicable and they'll be remaining good friends because that will be a lot easier on Luca when he's older.

Omg. I woke up to such a horrible news and I am still in shock. They were so happy together! I reallu really hope they'll change their mind and remarry or smth. But dont get me wrong, I kinda see this coming.

The therapy rumour was apparently true, and if u see most of the candids its always just her and Luca; and Mike sometimes. This is devastating. I expected them to last forever. And what about Luca getting more siblings? omg Hilary and Mike pls get together back and dont separate.

I'm so shocked over this news. I'm devastated for them because I truly believed they'd last.

I didn't see this coming at all! I thought they were so happy, their love seemed so easy and it was beautiful to watch.. I really thought their marriage would last Poor Luca, I'd have loved for him to have a baby sister/brother, They were just so cute, I'm so sad now

this is so sad, I don't want this to be true, her marriage was so cute, and they have luca. awww, I'm glad they're still staying close friends though and it's not a messy break-up.

I don't even know what to say. That was a shocking news for everyone, including not fans. I honestly didn't see this coming But I think they are both mature enough and if they are gettin a divorce, it's better this way. Feel sorry for Luca, it's not an easy thing to deal with (I know he's little now, but in the future it might be hard for him). Anyway..

It's a real shame what's happening, I hope Luca is ok.
I feel proud because I can really see that Hilary is not as immature as other celebrities creating a lot of controversy and feuds during divorce.
I'm really happy that everything is being handle as "amicable" and HEALTHY.

The only songs I have heard are Working It Out and Little Voice's demos/alternatives back in the old good HilaryFan days.
And I have the Who's That Girl demo, it's as great as the final version imo.

I really cannot wait for her upcoming album, every single album is special to me (but SCL, I don't like chistmas albums that much).

I just woke up after an overnight at the office for work, and this is what I will read.

I really like Mike and Hilary for each other, and Mike is definitely miles better than her previous boyfriends. I am really in shock with this but I am somehow feeling good that the separation is sincere and nothing really dramatic happened. Of course the real reasons may come in the news in a couple of days, but I really hope it's just some sort of things not working out RIGHT NOW. I am praying for them to get by in this really hard time.

I am most especially saddened for Luca, he deserves a complete family. I know Hilary and Mike never really intended for this to happen, so I just really pray that the best will happen for the three of them.

I know a a lot of Hilary fans only caring for her music, but Hilary needs us to support her in this family situation too. Let us make her feel that we are here not even just for her music but also to her life. Even though we are just fans, we can do something to make ease the pain Hilary may be feeling right now.

It's hard to imagine how little Luca will feel

I feel so bad for little Luca, he isn't even two years old. But, it's what's for the best, he doesn't need to sense his mother and father not being happy together.

Does anyone else think that working on music has been really therapeutic for her? In all the interviews in Canada last month... I don't think I've ever seen her that genuinely happy to be in the studio.

Especially that video that fabu sloth (I think) posted just yesterday or the day before. She seems so happy to b have found the direction she's going on and just... when she talks about it too. I think it's been her cushion this entire time.

Disneyland last month, sexy NYE celebration, sweet day at the park and suddenly this? Hilary and Mike are sure great at hiding their problems.

And yes, poor little Luca. Bday in a couple more months. Man, I still got hopes for their marriage. And now since she just gone through this, will she be attending the Grammys? if shes invited.

She's an actress, so maybe that's why Mike is pretty much a male Kristen Stewart But they're still friends so it's easier to hide, it's not like they are enemies now or whatever

I think she's invited every year, she just decided not to come even Paris Hilton got invitation every year

I was listening to the whole Dignity album and realized that most of the songs were so relatable to her situation now 7 years after its released. I got a feeling that this new album is Dignity all over again. Half of it in a relationship and the other half well...

Im shocked. I thought she was really happy i hope shes ok.
