Her tour starts in Feb and NL is climbing on the radio, doing better day by day so it's not possible to release RDC before the tour.
NL might peak during the tour so a fourth single when the tour ends is possible, but I doubt it's gonna be RDC

RDC should've been the second single.

maybe, but she'll release another album soon, she can release grown up songs then. and tbh I don't think RDC is less mature than a song by taylor swift. I just don't want another MITUSA. I think nightingale and two pieces would flop so hard, that the public wouldn't even know she has a new single out

After MITUSA and NL is just doing fine you guys still think releasing a upbeat catchy song can surely bring success than releasing a slow song
even if it smashes, it does nothing to build her image in general public's eyes

I agree, the industry has changed a lot over the past year, you are getting artists with monster hit singles that are actually ballads, I may have a lot of issues with DEMI but it has some pretty strong mid-tempo-ballads, but the label won't release any
Shouldn't Come Back would do so much for her image, even In Case could do great.

I think what will build her image is having more hits

Guys, Two Pieces or Nightingale would be great for Demi's career if she releases either one of them to be her next single. These songs have the potential to lead Demi into much bigger recognition as to what she is today. These songs are both critically good while being great pop songs at the same time. Maybe even Grammy noms if we get lucky, to be honest.
But, with those in mind, it might be a great risk. These songs could become HUGE or it could be paid dust. We'll just have to wait and see.

Her image as what? A generic popstar, sure. But she herself said that she wants to win a Grammy one day and they don't seem to be checking for Disney girls, so her best bet is to think outside the box and release something that will really blow everyone away.

This seems to be an unpopular opinion but Nightingale is bland. I always thought that Two Pieces and Nightingale would merge into one crazy good song, the soft verses of Nightingale with the powerful chorus of Two Pieces.

but again, to win a grammy she needs a huge hit. that's what matters to them nowadays. anyway, I really want her next first single to be a slow song, I just don't think she should release nightingale ou TP as the fourth single, I don't want her to end the DEMI era with a flop

France
Songs:
200. Let It Go
202. Neon Lights
279. Let It Go
Albums:
356. Demi
This is her weakest market along with Germany and Neon Lights is almost Top 200 for some reason..

Look at Miley she had two massive hits and she didn't exactly play it safe and she still didn't get a Grammy nomination. Only certain artists can get away with releasing bland material and still have it nominated, it's all about contacts. Demi has a poor label and equally bad management so she doesn't have the contacts.
Plus we all thought that MITUSA would be a hit because its a safe generic song, it didn't work out that way. When Miley released Wrecking Ball a lot of people thought it would flop yet radio really reacted positively to the song.

The only ballad that would slay is is Shouldn't Come Back.

Cool idea! That would be one heck of a song!
Yeah, probably out of all the ballads in DEMI, I'd much rather prefer In Case or Shouldn't Come Back to be released, but it is so obvious that Nightingale is Demi's first choice if a slow song will be released as possible singles, same with Two Pieces for a mid-tempo. This is because she always perform them in shows. But, she might surprise us. We never know.

about miley, rumor has it that she was punished for the grammys because of her bad behaviour
I wasn't here at the time, but I always hated MITUSA and always tought it was gonna flop, I don't understand why they chose this terrible song as a single, is not even catchy
anyway, I accept your opinion. but I personally still would like to see RDC as a single, is a smash waiting to happen. in her next album, she can release all the grown up songs she wants

Britney/Xtina/Rihanna/Gaga have all be as controversial as Miley and they still managed Grammy nominations, so I don't buy into that excuse.
