I loved Natalie Portman's role. She did a great job portraying Anne. Scarlett's character is pretty good, but I feel like i've seen this performance in her previous movies before.. As for Eric Bana, I thought they could have cast a better actor to play this role. The movie is still pretty good despite its long length. I definitely think if this movie was released for Oscar seasons, Natalie Portman would have been nominated for sure.

I love, I mean LOVE Natlie Portman, she is one of my favoriate actress. But I have to say, She is not that great in this movie. And so with Scarlett. I guess it is the director fault.
From the movie, I can guess that both Ann and Mary are drop dead gorgerous, but yet they are also extremely smart girls. May be they are too smart for each other so they became rival, but they both have to know how King Henry VIII was like. I do not like the idea that the movie try to convince me that Mary actually fall in love with King Henry, have anyone actually see the actual picture of King Henry? He ain't Eric Bana, and yet, he is a pig, both Looks and behave.
I felt Sad for Ann Boleyn. She has been use by Henry so he can get rid the church and marriage, so he can gain his indepenent powers as a king of England. Yet, the movie fail to show it, the movie try to convince that the power of Ann prohibited Henry get near to her so he do so for love, etc... Per-lease. King Henry is a smart man. He got plenty of women, he ain't care for Ann silly game and trick.
I don't think this movie is oscar worthy. The director was weak, the actors were weak, except the queen. This movie over all, I give it a B minus.
That's My OPINION.
