It could work if they deleted accounts based on this combined with other criteria, like inactive for X years with 0 posts and X amount of logins. Like it's unlikely that someone is gonna come back to ATRL having not used their account in 7 years and having made no posts.
Yeah, that's true. If they rarely post and just lurk while they're signed in, they can go and do that as a guest.
Yes, but like ONLY 5+ years. If you're "taking a break" for that long then your account sh9uldn't be wasting space names simply because you MIGHT come back out of nostalgia. Like it's unnecessary and it's unlikely and the chances of you just randomly coming back and staying after so long are slim.
I mean life keeps going, people change and move on. Meanwhile other people show up to take their place and they're essentially prevented from taking names they want because other people decided to move on like 4 or 5 years ago.
People can leave for as long as they want and come back whenever they feel like. That is not a justifiable reason for deleting their account. Come up with a new name instead of whining about it.

No one was whinning about anything. Had you read the OP I said that I noticed other members talking about it in another thread; being ignorant and trying to come up with a witty response so other members could agree with you.
