But there is no ideal situation if the songs does end up being a smash on the radio and in sales then they would have release the video too early for no reason. If anything they could pull a Monday song/Wednesday video preview/Friday (or Monday)video premiere

Looking at how the Dark Horse doing it might be a threat especially when she performing at The Grammy's which receives like 30M viewers and that the video of CRTFY might be the only promo we ever get

The again like I said since Rihanna and Shakira both work for Roc Nation and are both managed by Jay Brown that might permit for more promotion considering Jay can pull the strings for Rihanna to be free. Also Shakira might be Roc Nation only money maker this year. Jay Brown will maybe surprise us and pull a LOUD with Shakira.
