Too bad for him. There is now precedence for this and it will easily get striked down by the Supreme Courts thanks to Prop 8. It could even lead to a national conclusion. The gays (and human rights) will get their justice.

No mater what their stance is on the issue at hand, people need to accept that a change is and WILL happen. They can either be afraid of it and make weak attempts to delay it or they can embrace and accept it.

Well, I guess he'll get sued? You can't just **** with the courts. What if he said murder was okay and signed it into law? The law wouldn't have to be followed, because it's not protected by the courts. A law unprotected by courts is a worthless piece of paper and he's just a jackass tyrann.

This case is no doubt going to the Supreme Court. Utah is the first state to have conflict. The state government can't come with terms and this will go to a national level. The Supreme Court could possibly make same-sex marriage the law of the land!!
