Since when was dating a bad thing though? That's literally the only argument you have against her.
Call me when Taylor is caught showing her coochie to paparazzi

Didn't her documentary on public cable flop? Isn't she only selling like 5K tickets per show?

Britney showed her coochie to paparazzi and she's still able to restored her image and made one of the huger comebacks ever. Keep trying.

5k tickets per show would mean a SOLD OUT for Britney. Do your research.

I don't see you mentioning how that restored her "america's sweetheart" image but you can keep trying to prove the impossible
P.S Opening with 100k sales isn't really a "huge comeback"

at people claiming Taylor having 30 boyfriends. Even if that was true, it still beats having a mental breakdown.

I can guarantee you that's not why people don't like Taylor Swift.

Ummm no. Actually the doc was re-aired like 30 times, why would they re-air something that flopped? She's selling 4,500 tickets per show, people actullay travel to see her, not the other way around. In two years (if the Vegas will be 85% sold out at least) 400k people will attend her show by that time. Only the Queen tbh!

People just seem to root for Britney and have a genuine concern for her well-being. Few others in the industry have that kind of support. I won't go as far as to say she's reclaiming her title as American's Sweetheart, but yes, there seems to be a swell of positive press surrounding Britney (even despite the underperformance of Britney Jean) as she embarks on this new project and works her way back into the spotlight. And why shouldn't she be celebrated? Her legacy is so rich, her sweet, humble, character is largely intact (and after so many years in the industry!), and she comes complete with this great story of redemption.
This girl is a sweetheart. Let's show her some love.

Dating isn't a bad thing. But when the press decides to make your relationship hopping a news bit, brand you a heartbreaker, and subtly ****-shame you for playing the field, your reputation as "America's Sweetheart" does take a hit. Taylor's done nothing wrong in actuality, but the stuff that's printed and said about her does, unfortunately, resonate with people.

I have nothing against Britney she's a really sweet girl, but it's unfair of you guys to claim that she's America's sweetheart when Taylor is literally working her butt off without exposing her skin or cursing to get peoples attention, I'm not trying to shade anyone, there just needs to be praise when praise is due

People are simple and when they're told to consider her a train wreck they consider her a train wreck and when they're told to consider her renewed they consider her renewed.
This award means nothing. Those comments mean nothing. She was popular and she is popular and she will always be a topic of conversation within American popular culture because she is Britney Spears. The whole idea of "America's Sweetheart" is sensationalist ********. It doesn't mean anything about peoples perception just what they're being told to perceive. What matters is that shes being thought of at all.

I agree that is does take a toll on her image, but it doesn't completely negate everything else she does. She's an excellent example to young girls and her charity work is nothing short of amazing, she is constantly proving that you don't need to be controversial all the time to get sales.

The show had poor numbers, they kept re-airing it because thats just what E! does with their programming and they probably wanted people who didn't watch it to eventually give in and give it a shot. Common sense man.
Her Vegas show is just doing okay. Its great for her but overall nothing to brag about.

Wasn't there a thread a while back that exposed that the producers choose the winners of PCAs from the top 4 vote getters though...?
