I don't think the problem with Kelly's videos is budget, I just don't think she's generally not a visually creative person even though PLU looks fancier it sucks

I'm not a huge lover of Kelly's videos either. Maybe except "Behind These Hazel Eyes", this video is a masterpiece. "Stronger" era was a general disappointment when it comes to videos, plus not releasing "Let Me Down" as a single.

I don't even think Kelly lacks visual creativity, I just think she doesn't really care that much. She is not like Gaga who relies on her videos. She's written the concept for BOY and it's one of her best videos imo.

I think the main problem might be that she is unable to make her visions successfully real if you get what I mean. Her plans and ideas might be great but when you see the music videos, they seem bland because she can't realize it. Remember Dark Side mv? Didn't she said that everyone wanted something with vampires but she wanted something different? It sounded like she had a great concept in her mind but eventually it was quite boring.

That is sad. I thought the ducks were just US based. Kelly has fans all around the world. Such a shame. Maybe this year will help her.

Ugh! Thankfully I ate duck rice today, gonna eat more till all of'em die. Hope that we'll be WW #1 next year so this Xmas album will have a #1 in both WW and US.

The thing with Kelly's videos, her best videos (Behind These Hazel Eyes, Because of You, and Never Again) are all her concepts. However, with those three videos, those are telling a story from her life. I think she needs a relatability factor to what's happening in the video for her to go wild with it.

I just can't imagine Kelly sitting down with a pad listening to the single brainstorming ideas for a video and every ****ing time coming to the conclusion "hey, you know what this video really needs? A scene of me performing with a band!" I just think she doesn't care about the visual side of things. I mean we're talking about a 30 year old woman who dresses like a 50 year old butch lesbian, she clearly doesn't care about appearances and leaves the videos to the directors or something.

I wonder why the KC Express is basically dead now. I was active there 2006-2007.
