Today is the day that Stage6 closes it's doors permanently. Many of you may not be familiar with it but if you've been to Movie & Tv Show streaming sites you've probably used it before. Stage 6 was most known for it's clear picture quality and HD content.

Here's the statement made by DivX Inc. to shut down the site:

what is stage6?

It was a site like Youtube, but with a much bigger window (like the one I posted on top), the picture was DVD quality and in some cases HD quality. The size of the files you could upload were pretty huge compared to Youtube. You could download videos to your pc and much more.

Plenty of other websites were using Stage6's video player & hosting to stream movies, tv shows, music videos (and **** ). All of these sites will now either shut down or use an alternative with lower quality.

Stage6 is my favourite sites for streaming TV Shows ever! The quality just amazing.

I'm pretty sad when they shut it down. Especially since it's the best than the other ****.
