"Ignorant Art" is flawless but that was a looooong time ago & she's already made way better music since then. Plus she probably couldn't have the mainstream breakthrough she wants if she kept that whole style.
"Glory" was the only project she worked closely with T.I. so of course that was going to partially affect her material. Personally I don't mind because I think T.I. is amazing too.
I don't think any of her TNC material has been "generic" either, just because something has more commercial potential does not mean that it's generic. Not even "Bounce" is generic, the instrumental is actually quite unique-sounding, it's just more poppy/radio-friendly.
And I also don't believe she's that type of bandwagon-artist if that still hasn't happened after all this time (maybe visually but not as a complete artist) but I could be wrong. Hopefully not though.
