I didn't see the dateline, I thought it was Friday like before. It doesn't have to count just wanted to post still.
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run
The Boss sings inarticulately, sometimes scream to make you feel his love. A convincing delivery, the song has always remind me of "On ira" of Goldman without the hard guitars' riffs. 6
Carly Simon - That's The Way I've Always Heard It Should Be
Emotional but seems a little overlong. Is it good to feel that when the track is only 4 min long? 3
No Doubt - Bathwater
Predictable melody, predictable guitar riffs, predictable delivery. Predictable. 1
R.E.M. - It's The End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)
Yeah, amazing song. Don't you just want to jump and shake your head? 9
Radiohead - Paranoid Android
Tom Yorke's voice makes me feel so warm inside. I love his deity. The song is so well constructed, the simpleness, the way Tom's voice just seems to vogue over the beat. Brilliant. Predictable score by me again. 10
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
I can appreciate the background melody but it's really not my type of songs. It's always on french AC stations. 2
Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence
Easy melody. 4
Fiona Apple - Criminal
It's probably an unpopular opinion but this is not Fiona's best. Nevertheless, it's great, I just don't feel the remorse in Fiona's voice. The melody is the best thing about the song I guess. 5
Kylie Minogue - What Do I Have to Do
So anthematic, so good. Albeit the chorus is not the best part of the song, some could find it problematic for a pop song but it works so well here. 8
Nas - NY State of Mind 7
