"Blah Blah Blah" is so underrated as a song, but it actually damaged her momentum. She really needed a solid follow-up hit to "TiK ToK". Can't blame the label though. It went to #1 on iTunes right after the album's release, so they went by the idea that it'd be the next big thing for her. Too bad it was front-loaded. The video is great by the way!

If "Blah Blah Blah" wasn't the second single, "Backstabber" was going to be... both are amazing tracks but really should have been later singles or stayed as album tracks. Overall I'm pretty happy with how the Animal era went, so I probably wouldn't change it given the chance, but I feel that if perhaps "Your Love Is My Drug" was maybe the second single it would have smashed harder than it did as a third single and gotten that #1 it was snubbed... then "Take It Off" as third single, it would have gone Top 5 definitely, perhaps #1 with the right promo. "Kiss N Tell" could then have been the fourth single and it would have also gone Top 10, higher depending on how well Take It Off did I guess. "Animal" could have closed out the era for a fifth Top 10 hit, but it maybe wouldn't have been necessary or good for Ke$ha at that time in her career... she could have saved a more meaningful single for "The Harold Song" after "Blow" which was definitely snubbed.

I was thinking today at work how Blah Blah Blah is actually a great song and how I wouldn't change the Animal era. I really don't get why it gets so much hate. I mean, how many album tracks debut within the Top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100? Even Gaga's Dope was a promo single. When will your faves?

I'd love for Ke$ha's next era to have the following setup,

- Lead single
- Promo single
- Second single (collab)
=== Album release ===
- Third single
- Fourth single
- Feature collaboration single
- Fifth single (granted fourth single is successful)
- Sixth single (granted fifth single is successful)

She needs at least four singles, and possibly one collaboration single next era. I love K$ ha collabs, but she needs a more high profile one... I mean c'mon, 3OH!3, Taio Cruz, Pitbull and will.i.am? She can do better. At least collab with another male vocalist like Jason Derulo or something... Taio Cruz was okay but the song was just meh. I'm really warming up to Jason and his Tattoos era, too, I think that she'd do nicely on a Jason song, or him on a Ke$ha track.

When you think about it though Blah Blah Blah is the track that's the most similar to TiK ToK on Animal, so it had the best chance of SMASHING. She could have easily been a one hit wonder and flopped, but it was a good bridge between TiK ToK and the less in-your-face Your Love Is My Drug. IDK.

I'd consider it a part of the Warrior era, especially since it was released in the same year as C'Mon and Crazy Kids were released as singles, and the Dirty Love MV was released after Timber became a single... so yeah, Warrior era. #1 for ha Warrior era.

I actually didn't use Jason Derulo at all until his latest era, but The Other Side was alright, even though I didn't know it was from a new album until a lot later. Talk Dirty was a lowkey bop for me, and while Marry Me didn't do anything for me, Trumpets is a really cute track. Jason Derulo at least has a better voice than the guys in 3OH!3 or Taio Cruz... and I think that they'd make a nice collab together tbh.

we're still in the Warrior era since she released the Dirty Love video days ago and Timber was released before this.
