The promo was fine, but everything else was just a mess. I don't get why they can't follow other teams and just ****ing pay stations to play it and buy the song themselves to help it shoot up on iTunes. It's time to be shady. Other people don't care about doing that.

Agreed. They need to up sell, up sell, up sell. There's nothing wrong with a bit of business.

Father : "I want you to marry a girl of my choice."
Son : "I will choose my own bride!"
Father : "But the girl is Bill Gates daughter.."
Son : "Well, in that case.....ok"
Next - Father approaches Bill Gates.
Father : "I have a husband for your daughter."
Bill Gates : "But my daughter is too young to marry!"
Father : "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank."
Bill Gates : "Ah, in that case...ok"
Finally Father goes to see the president of the World Bank.
Father : "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president. "
President : "But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
Father : "But this young man is Bill Gates son-in-law."
President : "Ah, in that case...ok"

The difference is, when a song is #2 and you use remixes and payola to shoot it to #1, that's cheeky and tacky. If it's constantly in the bottom end of the Top 20, it's exposure and good business.
