Walmart has people walking around every day, all day in normal clothing.. most of the employees up front don't even know who they are, and they just walk around the store watching people..

TGI Friday's gives ALL front of house/hosts permission to throw away an application someone brings in without a manager even seeing it if they don't feel like they are suitable to work there just by appearance.

Some people
I work in retail on the weekend and the best revenge for horrible customers is being overly friendly to them, and watching them go red in the face. That way, you're not being vile (like spitting in food) and it can't come back to you as they can't complain about you.

I know some tea about Britney and Demi from when I worked... in literature, to be vague, but it's all open secrets/stuff you can probably surmise anyway.

We're encouraged to profile thieves based on race, age and income level. So if you're a poor black man, you probably won't be allowed to return anything without a receipt.

Also, just because there are some terrible nurses posting here, as a nurse I could tell you that some really care for patients and go up and beyond when we can (as in if time permits after documentation and scheduled medications are administered). We really try our best to help everyone but it gets overwhelming, especially during peak days/hours.
As for administering normal saline in place of pain medication, that's illegal because you are supposed to tell them what exactly they are getting. Hope that your "rude" patients receiving NS aren't patients suffering from kidney-related defects.

Frozen Yogurt
I worked at a self-serve frozen yogurt place and the only thing i can think of is at the end of a shift we just cover all the toppings in saran wrap and put them in the freezer with all of the frozen yogurt products. So less popular toppings could have been there for a while.
Also, the IPod playlist for our store was made in order to appeal to the broadest amount of audience possible. So it would go from rap to country to electronic, etc. They would literally have meetings about which songs would be good for black people, etc.
Teaching English
Worked at a center in Moscow teaching English. I was the only one that actually spoke English as their native language, however, all the parents thought that the other teachers were Americans. These parents didn't speak a word of English so it was not that hard to fool them. Anyway, I did not feel right about it, but I did not feel comfortable to tell the parents that the other teachers were actual Russians only pretending to be Americans.

our store is pretty similar, we just cover our toppings with covers and let them sit in the fridge til the next day, but our playlist is solely based off whatever the **** we wanna put on I actually have quite a few various amounts of genre going on in the store.
idk if you guys have this rule but at our store all the handles MUST be placed upward, since it’s self-serve though, and people are lazy bitches. we probably pull up handles 500 times a day on average it gets so frustrating, and no one is clean about the toppings either. I could go AWF about how messy people are

tbh the people watching security cameras are looking for shoplifters... not employees...

nnnn nothing got me more twisted then when people would use the hot caramel and chocolate syrup station. No area got more messy than that bitch. I have never worked as hard ever as I did in that store. It was constantly going back and forth between cleaning and register that there was no time to even think.

gurl YES it’s awful working alone, its always a rush back n forth and most people don’t even realize that you’re basically being their maid for the time they are in the store. I don’t know how you guys handle the samplers (people, typically teens, who come and take like 10 samples and buy NOTHING) but we kick their asses ouWt if they take too many samples without paying

Having waited at 6 different restaurants over the years, I unfortunately have to co-sign on this. At all of them. The stereotype isn't backed up by any situation in my experience.
I would witness it, but personally wouldn't have to time to participate as I'd be in my own focused world 95% of the time and don't have the patience for that ****. I've had well-dressed couples drowning in bags from designer stores compliment me on great service and give me next to nothing. You never know.

For those of you who go see movies, those seats you sit in, are cleaned only once a year, and they are covered in basically every bodily fluid you can think of (and more).
PS. He's also joined ATRL too.

This is exactly why I've never waited. You really never know who will tip [well] regardless of your service.
