According to Forbes, she's doubled her income on itself for the third year in a row, making more than Drake & Wayne combined for the year. In 2014 she gunning for the likes of Jay and Diddy. A huge feat considering she's only released her debut album a little over 3 years ago, whereas the other two have been building their brands for decades.
"Super Bass" was just certified 8x (yes, EIGHT) platinum in just the U.S. and the only music she's released of her own would be the BAB freestyle which has garnered widespread praise and a significant buzz. One tumblr post has it 500k plays, and I counted at least 4 or 5 others with 50K plays, AS WELL as the near 700K plays it got on soundcloud.
Although, I do find it a little ironic how this thread was posted on the same day an article like "Is Nicki Minaj The New King of New York" (
