My birthday wasn't listed in the thread!
To ensure your birthday is announced, do the following steps:
1) Go to My ATRL > Edit Profile
2) Find the section called "Date of Birth" and change your Privacy setting to "Display Age and Full Date of Birth" or "Display Only Date And Month of Birth"

2. (v) to excessively defend your favorite artist/celeb. Over the top stanning that can't be put aside can become extremely annoying.
SYG/Stand Your Ground -
(n) Stand Your Ground is the home of artist/celeb arguments that are out of control. There's free reign here for stans, otherwise known as people who will stop at nothing to defend their favorite artists and bash everyone else's.
If you want to fight out a vicious argument about celebs, artists, music, charts/sales, etc., you must take it here. The argument must be about pop culture. Personal fights are not allowed on ATRL.
In this thread you will not be warned for nicknames, flamebait or trolling.
All other ATRL rules still apply.
– Do not insult, attack or give rude nicknames to other members or stan bases.
– Do not post anything particularly insensitive, offensive or disturbing.
– Do not post anything graphic or explicit.
– Do not talk about things unrelated to pop culture.
– Do not spam.

Videos - (n) Here you can share music videos, performances, and other random clips.
warning - (n) A notice that you have committed a crime against ATRL and its people, sent by ATRL-o-Matic. Usually comes with a free warning point or two or three. Accumulate ten at once, and PRESTO! you are now banned.
Your Top Ten - (n) An underrated section of the site. Here you can post your own personal countdowns and post on others. Aside from the Best Of at the end of every year, this is the only place pure music sharing happens.

sis - Singular form of sistren(s). Used as a term of endearment. Also: sissy. Led to the famous smiley.
Origin: Used in the gay community, stemmed from the heteronormative usage of "bro". Sistren is also the feminine counterpart to brethren.

(the) tea - (n) The truth in a given situation. "You clocked the tea!" Not to be confused with teas.

Popularized Slang
"Beyonce her power" - Instead of saying 'The power of _______', the possessive adjective and the possession is placed after the person's name. Popularized by the user Kisuke. "Her" can be replaced with any possessive adjective, most often replaced with "ha".
clapback - Synonym for a clock. Popularized by Rihanna herself, used a lot by the Navy.
LaLingo - Putting La at the beginning of words, popularized by the user H-I-M. Also called HIMLingo. Has become warnable outside of the LaToya Base thread.
Example: This annoying ass 'lingo' has been LaPunched Owt.
MessT aka Putting T at the end of words - Supposed to represent the stereotypical gay lisp.
Keyboard Mashes
dddd - Used to show surprise at what someone has said. The more d's there are, the more surprise is expressed. The fewer, the more sarcastic it seems. Is often used with 'dead'.
Origin: Just keyboard mashing. However, it could have come from the term 'dead'.
ffff - Used to show surprise at what someone has said. The more f's there are, the more surprise is expressed. The fewer, the more sarcastic it seems.
Origin: Just keyboard mashing, although it reads very similar to a stifled laugh.
nnnn - Used to show surprise at what someone has said. The more n's there are, the more surprise is expressed. The fewer, the more sarcastic it seems. Semicolons are often placed at the end. For example: nnnnnnn;
Pronunciation: Like "mmm, that was a good meal," but with an n sound.
Origin: Just keyboard mashing, although it reads very similar to a stifled laugh.
***NOTE: Keyboard mashes can be any letter of the alphabet. The most popular are the only ones listed.
DO NOT use slang excessively. It becomes annoying and tryhard. Use it sparingly for maximum effect.
Pretty much just for new members. You're welcome, I just saved you three months of confusion. I'll update with more as time goes on.

Very comprehensive list, well done.
Question: what does it mean when someone puts a T at the end of their word? (ie. stay pressT, perchT up in this thread, slayT it just a biT)

Um... no. I've had this idea in my head for a while now. Those few threads a while back asking what every slang word meant jogged my memory to finish this.
