The best she can do is take Luke to court to get her out of her contract. If all these allegations are true, then she can probably build a case around him. If he's smart he would drop her before it turns into a huge media legal battle.

But at this point its hard to tell what is true, people should just wait until she's healthy and in a good place. She has to go on record and confirm or deny things.

Regardless of who is lying and who is telling the truth, at this point its obvious she just needs to close her ties with him.

Ke$ha needs to get away from that man asap. He's always come off as a tyrant to me. I remember when Ester Dean tweeted a few years ago that she would "NEVER question his authority." I don't know the context, but a thread was made about it here. I wish Katy would stop working with him I think being signed to Captiol and being a somewhat bigger star has shielded her somewhat from how he treats K$ though

one thing that confuses me about this entire situation is that if another label wanted ke$ha, couldn't they buy her out of her current label contract? i mean it's not like her issues are unknown in the business. if she could find a label that could buy her out (or do it herself) she could be set up. but then again take that with a grain of salt bc i don't know the behind the scenes stuff on how labels work.

i find it odd that dr. luke hasn't commented on any of this though. i mean not even a tweet saying "good luck" to her in rehab or anything. literally everyone can see how bad their relationship is at this point. if she doesn't get dropped after all of this i'll be surprised (it'd be a good thing if she did though).

Dr.Luke seems to be the blame for everything going on with her. I mean damn, I'm sure that she has problems aside from music. Everything is one big conspiracy theory with ya'll, it's so annoying. Nobody knows anything at this point.

I still wish someone would come out with some kind of concrete explanation about what's been going on here. I know Luke is clearly a twat but like I said before, I don't know if I fully trust Pebe either. Hopefully Ke$ha will be in the right state of mind to get this **** handled herself once she gets out of rehab. I feel so bad for her. And also for any of the other artists on his label. I don't know anything about their contract or the inner workings of these things either, but from what I've heard, out seems like her contract with him is pretty stiff. I'd imagine if a buyout were possible, ke$ha and her team would have already approached that option by now. Something else is up.

This is one of the reasons why I find everything so suspicious. He hasn't even commented on any of the terrible allegations being brought up against him. You'd think if he was really innocent then he'd try to clear his name before his rep went down the toilet.

But not only him. No other celebs, artists or producers seem to care to comment on the situation either. As prolific as Luke is in the industry, you'd think SOMEONE would speak out in some fashion, but no one has come forward to stick up for either him OR ke$ha. Pebe (and now Sharon) are the only ones saying things, and even pebe is being vague. Something is not right here. It could be that everyone is too afraid to burn their bridges with the big man on campus, but then that pretty much just confirms the allegations about his personality doesn't it? Either that, or something else is going on. I really hope the media starts to pick up this story, so then more people will be compelled to speak up.

So now this is part of Dr. Luke's "evil" plan?

Ke$ha is my favorite artist but what if she's the one lying? What if she's doing everything to force Dr. Luke to give her creative freedom?

It's really hard for me to take a side even though for most of you it's obvious that Dr. Luke is the bad one here.

He's not a celebrity. The GP have never heard of him so he doesn't need to do anything for "media".

There's nothing strange going on here. It's all about dirty money and nothing else. It happens all the time - people sign contracts and then they regret it and use tricks to get out if it (in order to avoid paying the amount stipulated by the "get out" clause).

If that were the case though, Luke could easily just come forward and say the allegations are all false. He hasn't even tried to defend his name though. If I, as a gigantic force in the music industry, was having my entire name defamed and being falsely accused of the things he's being accused of, I would most certainly at least send out a tweet or something. Even if he wanted to be politically correct and not fuel the fire, a simple "don't believe everything you read our hear" tweet would be enough.

Again, I'll be the first to admit something else is going on and that we don't know the whole story, but Luke is the one here making it hard to defend him. If he wanted to clear his name, he could with a simple sentence.

I believe they could BUT Dr. Luke would still own all of Kesha's past work, it'd be WAYYYY too expensive to buy her catalog. That's where the trouble would be. Kesha could be bought out and go on to record a new album elsewhere but wouldnt be able to perform any of her old songs without paying Luke .
