Someone is fuming to report this. It's true though, radio is ageist.

She grew up. As Madonna started discovering the world around her and developing her own beliefs she (like most adults) lost touch with what teenagers and pop radio DJs want to hear, hampering her ability to produce hit singles. On the other hand, her original audience has grown with her and continue to support her albums and tours which is why she's still so massive in those respects. Madonna continues to make great pop music but pop radio isn't a good platform for a 55 year old. I don't think the blame is on radio listeners for being ageist, I just think she doesn't know how to appeal to people a third of her age.

That said you're selling her short. She's had more hits in the past decade than most artists get in their lifetime.

Not all her singles flopped 4 minutes and Hung Up were huge hits. She needs another big hit with next album though. With MDNA I don't know why GP wasn't there for it. Poor single choices? First single was terrible so maybe that's what put people off. Great video for Girl Gone WIld but the song was medicore...

Give Me All Your Luvin was well received, at least where I live.

Dunno what you meant by that. It went #1 in five countries, none of which are Italy. Anyways I live in Texas and it was top 10 in the US, and I knew a fair amount of people who were really excited about it.
