Thats because the format is boring as the show has been on for 10 years. Replacing any of the judges with cheryl could only be a downgrade as the rest of the country doesnt really care about her beyond "omg hot" anymore.

yeah the formt is the format and people can't expect it to rule anymore, same for AI in the US. Replacing judges for the 123723844 time, even if a golden oldie is back won't change a thing in the long run

yes and no, I got some classes from two men who teach at some UK university and they told that tabloids and papers also like to make things hot or interesting and influence the big public with it. Yes I agree that there still is demand for her, but the fact that there are stories about it, is not 100% a reason to indicate that the "country" is thirsty!

Hype around Cheryl would bring a bit of buzz for X Factor, but her "you remind me of meself" and "you are like me little brother/sister" critique will not bring entertainment factor to the show!

Of course the papers try to influence the country, thats been happening for years. But they cannot make stories about just anybody, they have to be about people the public want to hear about - Cheryl and Simon would please the majority of viewers and get viewers that have left to come back, writers know that, stories about Tulisa (who I liked on the show) and (no shade) Nicole coming back aren't spreading around.

The producers trying to 'bring the entertainment factor' in more than it already is is exactly what killed the show. It's so overproduced and OTT.

There is no point in comparing their debuts especially as Cheryl's debut was released while she was seen as "national treasure" and Tulisa's while she was one of the most hated people in country. Nobody is comparing their careers, ofcourse Cheryl's was bigger, I was just refering to albums that were released in same year

Nicole, Danni, Cheryl and Sharon would be an incredible panel. The panel was FAR too friendly last year! And the men who've occupied seats on the series have had less balls than any of the females so may as well just give them the boot altogether.

Good to see her denying her coming back to the show once again.
