She's had a very colourful life. She had a troubled childhood, grew up in a very conservative household (her father was an MP in Margret Thatchers government) she's lost her mother, sister and first husband to cancer, was stuck in an abusive relationship with her latest husband, Charles. She's never had any formal training as a cook/chef and despite all the crap she's had to deal with, she has gone onto build this enormous empire. Countless best selling books, #1 TV shows
