I'm here for R8 in 2015 if and only if she does proper promotion and doesn't put too much on her plate at the same time. She should use 2014 for her other business ventures and do a proper era in 2015
If she plans on releasing in 2015 and still doesn't promote then she might as well release this year (preferably in the summer)
A song that is owned by an artist (whether it was released or not). All of her songs are copyrighted. It cannot be distribute in other ways without her/her team's permission.

I don't know if any older Navy can relate to this, but I kind of miss the days when Rihanna wasn't as big. I feel like ever since about mid-way through the Loud era, she's been elevated onto a whole nother level, and while I'm happy for her huge success and always wanted it to happen, I feel less connected to her. I truly miss the days when she wasn't as big of a star because it was so much more fun to stan for her back then.
I miss the days when people actually doubted her legitimacy as a pop star and the Navy would come out to defend her, or the days when she wasn't doing as good so it felt like she needed us requesting and supporting in order for the singles to do well. Now it's like she's a huge star on her own and whatever she puts out is going to do well, so it's not as much of a fight to get there because she's not an underdog anymore.
I think in a way that's why I've started stanning for other acts and stopped being as active here, because it really isn't the same when your faves already done everyone you wanted for them.
TheOnlyOne, I see what you're saying but I think we should all be happy for Rih climbing to such amazing heights in her career. I've been a Navy since '09 and love her just as much now as I did back then, if not more. I didn't get into online "stanning" until 2012 tho, so I don't know what it was like for us before then.

I'm an old navy but the thing that I mjssed the most is when I didn't know about the charts. But at the same time I'm thankful I have known about them cause I feel like I also own her achievements because I knew I was there supporting her.

While I agree Rih has gotten too comfortable in her status over the course of the years (which is why somebody needs to light a fire under her ass to remind her she's not invincible) it kinda annoys me when people call her lazy.
- I really think Rihanna the brand has become bigger than Rihanna the musician right now. She is a hot commodity for businesses. She doesn't know how to balance the two correctly thus her music is pushed on the back burner. She hasn't had a break since 09 if anything she's tired and stressed, more so than lazy.
Now Im not tryna make excuses for her cause best believe if the same mediocrity is carried on into the next era. I will glady perch my ass in her mentions and give her a nice lil read

I agree, I think after Good Girl Gone Epic she achieved her dreams, she's just been making money, R8 is gonna be her best work!
