It's beatable at any point of one's life, IMO.
I've had issues with anxiety, especially these last few years (it got really bad at 18 or so). It's gotten a lot better, I hardly ever feel that "crippling anxiety" anymore & I'm 23... but the key to getting over it is honestly, just pushing yourself to do things that scare you. Facing your fears. Doing what you don't want to.
You kind of have to throw yourself out of that "funk", so to speak.
Once you get past it, you question why it was so hard in the first place. You sort of have to be willing to embarrass yourself, or put yourself out there to get past that mental barrier. As hard as it is, I feel a lot better now.
My motto these days is to Think Less and just Act More, especially since I have the tendency to overthink.
