Why even sign them in the first place? Is it to make sure no other label grabs them when they have buzz after the show? And then they drop them once the buzz has fully died...

Or maybe they didn't like the material and asked her to record new songs, which she took insult too. That happens A LOT with major labels.

This is so sad. She's so talented I'm not a big fan but she always seemed so humble and so genuine and rooted for her. I wonder how many of the Xf rejects have gone thru this? I think they just signed them to hold em from signing somewhere else and them if they get a chance maybe work with them
