people actually think Venus would be a viable single? In what universe?
I don't think it's so much as it being a viable single, more that gaga is really passionate about the song and will most likely give her all to promoting/performing it so we'd get a lot of good performances if it were a single. at least that's how I see it lol
plus that chorus KNOCKS
'CAUSE YOU'RE OUT OF THIS WORLD, GALAXY, SPACE AND TIME
I WONDER IF THIS COULD BE LOVE, THIS COULD BE LOVE

Watching American Dad and in the show it's Halloween and a background character was dressed up as Legend G ha iconic look from the Rolling Stone cover in the bubble dress
this! and i think it could've smashed on urban which would've been great for DWUW. Pop would'nt have played it though because it says Bitch every two seconds haha
oh and I agree they should've picked the strongest single for the lead single. even though that's against conventional wisdom, this was her COMEBACK. plus she was up against Katy. DWUW would've faired better imo because from the start it would've posed Gaga with a brand new sound. Applause reminded people that Gags can deliver bops but it was "just another dance gaga song".. nothing NEW to excite them
I agree. Applause didn't reinvent her sound. I know people are crying for 'the old Gaga,' but I feel as though something fresh from her would have been far better.
