No and I don't understand why others do. It's called artist loyalty. It's their career. If they want to put out music for the sake of putting out music why not? People over 40 still have a voice and want it to be heard. Ageism is the worst thing about the industry.

Mariah started at 20. Madonna started at 27. It doesn't matter. At 35 Mariah had been out as many years as Madonna at 42.

Her music, I think that's the main problem with her, her music sounds as dated as you can get.

She took too long of a break after an underwhelming era. Now she keeps trying to come back and the GP just aren't interested. She actually would've gained alot of steam from idol in my opinion had she not be brought down by the feud with Nicki, #Beautiful did pretty well despite the feud so it probably could've smashed even harder without the negative publicity.

I think the GP is VERY much here for Mariah. Is Mariah here for the GP though? Not so much.
