I just think some people are better at taking criticism than others. It's like online hate. Some say "grow a thicker skin" but the thing is not everyone is capable of that.
Gaga should stand up for herself more which she seems to be slowly doing but she could also word things better and own up to her part in mistakes I agree.
Although she did ask for forgiveness so I truly believe she was trying to apologize and just explaining why these things happened. It came off as "it's everyone else's fault".
Plus the media hates her atm. I think publicizing a message to her fans as a statement to the GP is wrong. People are picking out stuff like her goddess comments as though that is her saying "I am a god" and not just referencing her own work to her own fans who would understand this.
I guess this is just what the tabloids do though.

The tabloads and the media are the WORST. They are 90 percent responsible for the gaga/Madonna fan wars.
The interview where Madonna called lady gaga reductive was edited so badly. Madonna called ONE SONG reductive and then went on to say that when gaga refrences her she thinks it's well done, that she doesn't think gaga copies her and that they're two completely different artists but all of that was left out and all the headlines read was "Madonna calls lady gaga reductive"
The media struck again when Madonna sang BTW on stage. The media reported it was a dig at lady gaga so every Madonna fan and every gaga fan believed it. Did anyone stop to think that Maybe she performed the two songs side by side and then sung "she's not me" as a dig at all those critics that attacked gaga for "copying" her.
The media are idiots and have created this fan war and have put tensions between two stars that probabaly could have been friends.
