I remember her saying on twitter that a track was switched out last minute, and part of me wants to say there was something about the album being rejected and some other songs were put onto it. I think it was her reasoning for the tracklist delay or something, I wish I had receipts.
Not to mention that the way she spoke about the album changed pretty abruptly from "decay of the Pop star" and "like a phoenix rising from the ashes" to the whole ARTPOP concept seemingly out of nowhere. I really think that her 4th album was vastly different in her head than what we ended up with.
