If we don't carry the organic pulp-free grapefruit juice or special flavor of dr. pepper you're looking for, I will tell you that I'm going to tell my manager and we're going to get the problem solved but nobody will ever hear about it again. Comment cards rarely make it past the service desk.

Same here. We can't go up to somebody when they're in the store because we don't know whether they'll end up paying for the item or not. We only know that they're trying to steal it when they've actually left the store, and by that time it's too late and we're not allowed to go after them. So basically it's extremely easy to steal stuff. I watched two teenage boys steal a big jug of apple juice by just carrying it out of the store in plain sight

I know that at my Applebee's the waitresses shoot up heroine while they work and do coke off the counters where they prepare food. They also found traces of an std in their bathrooms.

Edit: At the grocery store I work at now, I see people steal a lot but I just don't give enough ****s to say anything.

And a lot of black people know this, too. Same with being followed around in stores. It's ridiculous.

Hot Topic doesn't copyright the images on their own merchandise, so if you can get away with taking a photo in there you can go make copies of that shirt somewhere else and not get in trouble.

And Academy has a really easy return policy, no receipts necessary, as long as they've carried the item in store. I once bought a pair of shoes at Kohls for $25 and after wearing them for a year took them to Academy and returned them for $80.

You are on constant video AND AUDIO surveillance every time you enter 7-11 It's supposed to be for employees/studies, but they use it for everything. Also the obvious cameras you see are not the real cameras.

When I was a retail employee very often returns with damages/defects are put right back on the floor because it takes more time to file damage reports. Be keen when you buy your clothes gurls.
