This. I liked their story, it was very interesting. Shame they ruined it in the end.

The only annoying thing is that the mother hates him being gay - for once it would be nice to have a storyline where both parents accept their gay son, but I guess this is Eastenders after all, the epitome of depressing storylines haha.

And I guess there has to be some antagonist. I feel like his story line would be too "happy" if everyone was like, "It's ok, we accept you =) ". But I don't know much about this show though since I don't live in the UK. Just my thoughts.
