Are most of the new members really that bad? And maybe it 'cause I don't browse the forum as much as veterans/moderators but, I see older members trollin' and flamebaitin' too along with the new members.

The issue here is mostly in the warning system which would ban people from posting after ten points. With offensive warnings, it would only take 5 posts to earn that ban. Maybe that's what keeps the vets in line because they wouldn't say 99% of the stuff I've seen posted by new members.

The issue of people actually believing any of that nonsensical hate is something else that I'd rather not get into. I enjoy my rose colored glasses.

Not all the new members. But plenty have apparently been observing from the outside and picked up tips in all the wrong places about how to behave. Hopefully they'll calm down with a little more time here.
