I notice a lot of times, people will put when replying to a discussion thread, followed by things like "some people are so stupid" or something similar, but they do not put forth their own opinions. I never really saw the point in putting down other people's opinions without offering your own.

Have you ever saw this while going through threads? Does it bother you? Let's discuss these useless comments that do not bring forth anything relevant to a discussion.

It's an easy reply and does nothing to help the discussion. I don't care, but it'd be nice to have a debate that doesn't involve someone disregarding what you've said, instead of offering their opinion - like you mentioned yourself, op. One can only wish.

That's why I don't really entire discussion threads. I just say my peace and keep my reactions to myself.

I knew it would happen when making this thread, but that's okay since this isn't all that serious of a discussion. It's more like the major ones like the marijuana thread and the doctor bill thread that I noticed it. That's when it bothers me.
