Creatively, I totally agree that the next album should be pop/rock/blues. I'd love some metal in there too.
It's authentic to her routes, it's what people have long wanted her to do, it's not trend-restrictive or as dated as dance, it's far closer to what the Grammys et all will actually reward, and she's the only pop girl can really pull that off because she has artistic cred and affiliation with countless rock legends.
Have a mixture of raw intimate personal tracks, power ballads about love and overcoming, catchy anthems (TEOG sans synths), rock n roll party jams (put your whiskies in the air etc.) and maybe some more Electric Chapel's.
Look like this and she's onto a winner:

Commercially though, she probably should do pop/r&b. More Sexxx Dreams, DWUW, No Way, Second Time Around etc.
Jus as a matter of interest... My friend, who has liked Gaga's music but has never been a fan, was listening to ARTPOP in my car. Interestingly, he said; "I really like some of Lady Gaga's music, but I don't think she'll ever reach her full potential with all that electronic stuff in the background. Why doesn't she just have normal instruments and let her talent speak for itself?"

The biggest thing Gags lost between eras was her media presence/support.
She actually still has huge media presence and rather moderate support; it's the GP that's still distanced from her

Yep. You look at The Fame, and you see how perfectly calculated and detail-oriented it was. Everything was planned perfectly down to the most minute of details. In the past two eras, she's more just throwing things out there from her mind and seeing what sticks.
I wonder how things would've went if she'd been allowed to release BTW in 2010 like she wanted. Like, would she be giving Rihanna a run for her money on the yearly release front, or would there have been an even longer break?
Also WTF @ y'all entertaining Donatella as a single. The only good answer for the next single is G.U.Y. Not here for bulimia controversy and her reputation being further run into the ground once this bad song gets airplay. No TY.
I love G.U.Y. but it would NEVER fit as an single LOL.
GP is actually really tired of thinking about what a Gaga song really means.
I had to explain to 3/5 of my friends what G.U.Y really means.
